Introduction to Electromagnetics – Rahsoft 101 Course Description

Master the topic of electromagnetics to lay the foundation for your engineering career and achieve your goals (literally!) Electromagnetics is the foundation needed to become an electrical engineer. After focusing on radio frequency, antennas, and other related disciplines, you may end up in aerospace, communications, and other industries. This course is always in development and we will add more videos every few months. In RAHAE 101, we will focus on an introduction to electromagnetic field theory.

This course will cover the basic knowledge of electromagnetic waves and vector analysis. Including the coordinate system and the conversion from one coordinate system to another. After each topic, several numerical problems were solved to understand the basic concepts of the course. This course introduces electrostatics and magnetostatics, waves, and their applications. It will cover the reflection, refraction, and dispersion of plane waves. This course provides an in-depth introduction to the basic knowledge of transmission lines and waveguides in simple steps.

Who is the target audience?

A prerequisite for students planning to obtain the Rahsoft RF certificate in the RAHAE 101 course, is a complete introductory package for electromagnetic field theory. This course is taught by Dr. Akhilesh Verma. Dr. Verma has a Ph.D. in antenna engineering, specializing in beamforming, phased array antennas, and 5G. The course consultant for this course is Ahsan Ghoncheh. Ahsan has more than 10 years of experience in the RF and antenna fields of consumer electronics, aviation, and aerospace.

Their designs and projects can be used as small parts in the intermediate stage of the iPhone, smart TV remote controls currently used in the server of the latest commercial airline communication system, and next-generation front-end modules.
